Michal Kuś
Michal Kuś holds a PhD in Political Science (2010). His thesis examines political control over audiovisual media in Spain (1975–2008). Michal’s research focuses on media systems, with special attention to media control, ownership and deregulation, relations between media and politics and political communication. His publications deal with the role of media in contemporary societies (e.g. Spain: Mass Media and Elections in the Face of Terrorism; co-editor) and media systems (e.g. Spanish Media System). He is co-founder and secretary of the executive committee of the Polish Communication Association and collaborates with the Department of Communication and Journalism at the University of Wroclaw.
