The New Bedford Women’s Residential Rehabilitation Service RRS Program provides 21 beds for women and women with infants with substance use disorders. Our sober living homes are group residences for men who are struggling with addiction from alcohol and drugs. In most instances, men  who live in sober homes have to follow certain house rules and contribute to the home by doing chores. Most importantly, residents must stay sober throughout their stay in the home. Living in this type of environment can promote lasting recovery–helping men to maintain their sobriety as they adjust in life both during and after treatment. Many men use sober housing to help make the transition from rehab to living independently without using drugs or alcohol. Three-quarter house offers a structured, transitional living program for adult men recovering from alcohol and drug addictions.

By aligning Stepping Stone’s sober living program with the 12 Steps, we not only access the therapeutic value of the Steps, but also establish a support system for the clients.
